19 weeks oldRicochet is the “Beanie Baby” I kept from Felicity’s breeding.  Born 10 March 2011, little Miss Rikki has been a trendsetter since she was born.  She was the first in her litter to open her eyes, first to climb out of the whelping box, first to climb into Fillie’s bowl to eat her food instead of nursing, you get the idea.  I decided very early on that I would keep her, it was just a feeling I had.  She was always crawling into my lap in the whelping box, leaving napping spots with the other puppies to snuggle with me instead.  It also helped that the markings on her back make an “E” in one direction and an “M” in the other.  How could I pass up a puppy that literally had my name on her?  I couldn’t.  As she grew, her personality just secured my decision.  She’s feisty, spunky, driven, happy, and she adores me.  What else could you want in a little puppy?

I am really enjoying how my little Ricochet is maturing and I can’t wait to share the rest of her days just having fun in everything we do together!  She’s a master snuggler, super swimmer, and professional fetcher.  One day she’ll be an agility superstar, just wait and see!
